The villa which is exclusive and completely private in its own walled and secure grounds sleeps 6 and 2 cots for children under 3 years in 3 suites, Super King, King and Twin. Outside areas kept well and clean although they do not follow up on removing towels from sunbeds that people put down and then disappear for casino armacao de pera, so on occasion no sun beds free due to placement of towels with no guests.

All Principle rooms face south and have spectacular views of the casino armacao de pera. Seamed to have some issues with their electrics on some occasions affecting the dining area internal and out on some evenings and mornings; lights going on and off. I guess that they were over stretched with the number of rooms they had to clean on a daily basis. During the summer months it regularly hosts foam parties.
Primarily full of english-speaking tourists, you won't find many Portuguese here unless they're looking for a very lively night out! If you lose the ticket you are often asked to pay a fee to leave the premises.
If you prefer al-fresco then the outside shaded eating area has seating for eight also there is a bbq and outside fridge for those who prefer to toss a steak on the coals.
Grounds are quite extensive adding to the feeling of space and its location at top of cliff. The room was a decent size and clean and very handy having a kitchenette. It's located halfway between Vilamoura and Albufeira.
The gourmet kitchen has every appliance and utensil that you would need for your culinary skills and the formal dining room has seating for eight. You will be tempted by the delicious regional fare, chicken piri-piri, black Iberian pork, wild boar with plums and lamb casserole. One of the main features of the villa is the infinity pool which affords the same awesome views of the coast whilst swimming.
The food breakfast and dinner was very good and certainly 4 star most of the times, could not fault the breakfast; a few of the evening meals were below 4 star standard and a limited choice when the pig roast was on; also if you eat late some evenings desert ran out and was not replenished chefs appeared not to bother as they noticed but did not replace.
Talking about Romans, it was the Romans that built the stone terraces in our gardens. Our stay duration was for 12 nights, half board.

Room we paid for was a 'superior sea view' although not what I would call superior I think they are trying to stretch this category to cover as many rooms as possible for extra money.
This also highlights that some guests will have the noise of the air con on their balcony. Service from waiting staff was good but again a bit hit and miss some evenings; the majority of the time tables were cleared very quickly, at other times our table had starter, main and dessert plates on even though staff were hanging around.
